The nearby beach

Pull up a lounge and relax

At sunset

On a stormy day

Just another day in paradise...

Taken when the tide is out, from way out in the shallows

Folks have been requesting photos of the nearby beaches.  Just about a mile and half down the road from us is a lovely little restaurant on the beach called Banana Bay.  It is run by friends of ours Toni and Dani and it features a typical lunch menu of fish fingers, burgers and fries and that sort of thing.  It is situated in one of the most beautiful spots on the island, in my opinion!  It would not be hard to wonder where an entire afternoon disappeared as you sit beneath the palm trees sipping cocktails and enjoying conch fritters!  When the tide is out, this beach is distinguished by shallows and sand bars that go out for hundreds of yards.  It is a very special place.  (Note:  I did not take these photos myself, but am grateful for these photos taken by others who have visited)
